Help with clearing and cleaning an estate property
JAE Services helps with clearing and cleaning a deceased person's home in Oulu and nearby areas. You can choose a complete service or just the tasks you need. We serve family members and authorised estate representatives discreetly and confidentially.
Clearance and final cleaning through one contact person
- Property and storage clearance. Partial or complete clearance of the home, storage room, cellar and other agreed spaces.
- Sorting belongings. Items are sorted according to the customer's instructions for keeping, sale, donation or disposal.
- Removal and transport. Agreed deliveries for recycling, donation or appropriate disposal. Arrangements and costs are agreed in advance.
- Thorough final cleaning. Cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, floors, cupboards and other agreed surfaces to prepare the property for sale, rental or handover.
Sale of belongings through cooperation partners
At the customer's request, the sale of belongings can be arranged with cooperation partners. Before a sale, we agree on the items, sales method and terms, any fees and how the proceeds will be paid to the estate.
The customer decides which items are kept or removed. The handling of personal documents, photographs, keepsakes and valuables is agreed separately. Arranging a sale is an optional additional service.
A clear quote before work begins
The price depends on the volume of belongings, the size and condition of the spaces, access and the agreed tasks. We assess the work using photos or an agreed site visit.
The quote itemises the agreed clearance and cleaning, transport, and any disposal charges or other additional costs. Terms for sales services are agreed separately. Any extra work and its price are agreed before it is carried out.
How the service works
- Contact us. Tell us the location, size of the home, approximate volume of belongings and preferred schedule.
- We agree on the work. We go through the belongings to keep, any sale arrangements, clearance and cleaning. You receive a quote before ordering.
- We carry out the agreed service. We follow the customer's instructions and hand over the property as agreed.
Is specialist cleaning following a death also needed?
Estate clearance and ordinary final cleaning can be carried out without specialist cleaning related to a death. If there is soiling or an odour problem connected with a death, we assess the need for specialist cleaning separately and agree on the scope before work starts.
