Furniture assembly and mounting
We help with installations that do not require special permits and small repairs in dry rooms at home or in business premises. We assess the work and fixing method according to the product, property and mounting surface.
- Furniture assembly according to the manufacturer’s instructions, including required anti-tip fixings.
- Mounting shelves, pictures, mirrors, hooks and curtain rails in dry rooms.
- Mechanical mounting of TV brackets on a suitable surface. Heavy equipment may require two workers.
- Replacing furniture hinges, handles and other fittings, and small non-structural repairs.
- Small filling, painting and skirting jobs in dry rooms.
- Mechanical installation of a new battery-powered smoke alarm on the owner’s instruction.
Installation help at €55/hour per worker
Minimum 1 hour per worker, then each started 15-minute period. The required number of workers is agreed in advance. If two workers are needed, both workers’ time is charged.

Packages include the stated working time. Tasks are completed in the agreed order, and any extra time is agreed before continuing. Materials and agreed travel charges are separate.
Prepare for the visit
Tell us the product’s make, model and dimensions. If needed, send a photo of the product and mounting location. Have the product, assembly instructions and required fixings ready, or agree material purchases in advance. Let us know the wall material if you know it.
Scope of work and required consent
We carry out only agreed work that does not require special permits. Where necessary, obtain the owner’s or housing company’s consent and submit a renovation notification before the visit. Work without a permit requirement is still subject to the owner’s and housing company’s conditions.
Our service excludes fixed electrical installations, gas and refrigerant work, plumbing and water connections, wet-room waterproofing and structural work, changes to load-bearing structures, asbestos work, roof work and work on automatic fire safety systems.
Travel and other costs agreed in advance
These are the prices payable by the customer. JAE Services is not registered for VAT, so VAT is not added. Standard rates for property maintenance and installations apply Monday–Friday, 07:00–21:00, excluding public holidays, without a separate weekday evening supplement. These working hours and supplements do not apply to cleaning services. Materials, working-hour supplements, machinery and longer journeys are specified before work starts.

Finnish tax credit for household expenses
Some work carried out at your home or holiday home may qualify for the household tax credit. Eligibility depends on the work and the Finnish Tax Administration’s current conditions. Labour is itemised on the invoice; materials and travel costs do not qualify. Check the work’s eligibility and the provider’s prepayment register status before ordering.

Can I book just one hour?
Yes. A one-hour package with one worker costs €55. Tell us the tasks in advance so we can estimate how much can be completed.
Do you connect washing machines or carry out electrical work?
Washing machine and dishwasher water connections, fixed electrical installations and the other excluded work listed below are outside our service scope. Arrange them with a professional suitable for that work.
Are fixings and materials included?
Materials are separate. You can supply them or agree purchases with us before the visit. Standard hand tools and tidying up after the work are included in the labour price.
